Barbara Ann Tynes passed away in Denton, Texas on Monday, December 6, 2021. She was born in Denton to Homer and Margaret Baker on July 6.

She grew up living in Denton attending Denton High and was a cheer leader for the Broncos and also attended North Texas University where she graduated and met her husband Joe W. Tynes. Barbara was very socially active and was very popular in school.  Barbara played on the tennis team and played golf also. Barbara spent the last 15 years plus living in Tyler Texas and also was very popular there with all her bridge clubs members. Barbara was a very sweet and kind and beautiful lady and was a friend to all she knew . She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Joe Tynes Jr.

Barbara is survived by Chris Tynes, Dana Zizoff & Shauna Bright.  Barbara is also survived by five Grand kids Christopher, Caroline, Norman ,Ryan and Lauren.

She will be sincerely missed but we know she is now in God's kingdom looking down on her family. We miss you Mother and don't worry one day we all be reunited together.

A celebration of Barbara's life will be held at The Little Chapel-in-the-Woods, the campus chapel at Texas Woman's University in Denton, Texas, on January 13, 2022 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM.
