Carol Gibson Cordero passed away in Denton, Texas on Tuesday, April 25, 2023. She was born in Denton to Donald and Gertrude Gibson on April 28, 1945. Carol married Jose Cordero in 2010 She enjoyed swimming, spending time with her family and traveling. She is preceded in death by her parents.

A celebration of Carol's life will be held at DeBerry Funeral Home from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 29, 2023.

Carol is survived by her husband Jose Cordero, sons, Kevin and Donnie McGee, daughters Tonya Farmer, Letisha Rincones, 5 grandchildren 6 great-grandchildren, sister Eunice Ferrell and her husband George, brothers Edwin and James Earl Gibson and many nieces and nephews.
