Edgar Armando Garcia passed away at his home in Denton, Texas on Sunday, April 2, 2023. He was born in Guatemala to Concepcion Garcia and Maria Aguilar on May 11, 1968. Edgar worked as a welder and enjoyed working on projects in his garage and having barbecues with his family. He is preceded in death by his father Concepcion Garcia.

A viewing and visitation will be held at DeBerry Funeral Home on Thursday, April 6, 2023 from 5PM to 7PM. Funeral services are scheduled for 10AM, Friday, also at DeBerry, with interment to follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Denton.

Edgar is survived by his wife Sandra of 28 years, and children Rosemary Garcia of Denton, TX, Joselyn Carrell with husband Jeff Carrell of Haslet, TX, Maritza Garcia of Denton, TX, Edgar Garcia of Denton, TX, two grandchildren Leah and Levi of Denton, TX, his mother Maria Aguilar of Guatemala, and many brothers and sisters and nieces and nephews.
