Irma L. Polino, 74 of Denton, Tx. passed away on June 6, 2023, in Richardson, Tx. She was born on September 29, 1948, to Telesforo and Trinidad Lopez in Tenayuca, Zacatecas, Mexico.

Irma in her early years worked for region 19 Head Start program as a teachers aid and loved working with children. Prior to retiring she worked for Krum ISD as a custodian as this brought her close to the children again and was able to watch her grandchildren start school. She also had a great love of music and dance, those who knew her best know how much she loved dancing and still talk about it to this day. She also loved her congregation with Jehovah's witnesses who became her second family who she loved dearly.

She is survived by her daughter, Lorena Polino of Krum, Tx., son, Ricky Polino of Krum, Tx., sisters, Josefina Lopez, Tomasa Garcia, Beatriz Zavala, Estela Lopez, and Lucy Lopez, brothers, Alfonso Lopez, and Arturo Lopez, and grandchildren, Freddy Torres, Jr., Yuliana Gloria, and Natalina Gloria.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas, on Monday, June 12, 2023, from 9 AM until 10 AM. Funeral services will begin at 10 AM in the Chapel.
