Jimmie Pearl Walker, 88, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022. She was born in Slidell, TX on September 25, 1934, to Jimmy Anderson Lewis and Lottie Pearl Patton.

Jimmie was employed as a nurse for Dr. Douglas Hagen prior to her passing. She also worked as a nurse for Flow and Westgate in the past. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family and friends, especially the lunch bunch.

She is survived by her daughter Tonjia Kim Roan and son-in-law Terry; her sister Thelma Ruth Smith; grandchildren Jessica Kloiber and Kyle Roan; and her great grandchildren Hadley Womack, Lottie and Lincoln Roan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Jimmy Wesley Taylor, and four brothers.

A visitation will be held on Friday, December 30, 2022 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the DeBerry Funeral Home. The service will immediately follow at 11:00 AM in the DeBerry Chapel with a burial taking place at Roselawn Memorial Park after the service.
