John Edward Rogers 79 of Denton, TX passed away at home on Tuesday, April 4, 2023. He was born on May 2, 1943 in Quanah, Texas to John Jefferson Rogers and Opal O'Dell Nicholson Rogers.

John married Wijitra Homsin in Arlington Texas on June 30, 2001. John was a professional driver in the freight industry. Later John worked the front counter at Wichita's Alterations helping his wife "Miss Wichita". John called customers and visited with everyone that came in as if they were long time friends.

John is survived by his wife Wijittra Rogers of almost 22 years. John is a loving father, grandpa and very supportive to his family. A son John Jefferson Rogers and wife Rattana, grandsons, Corey and Bon Rogers and Danny Gilley, 11 great grandchildren, brother David Ortiz, Wijitra's children, Naritsara Sirikul and husband Joes Ramirez, Laoongthip Hunnok, Dittapon Pomkai and granddaughter, Maya Ramirez.

There will be a viewing Saturday, April 8th from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at DeBerry Funeral Directors.

A celebration on John's Life will be held at a later date.
