On Saturday, November 13, 2021, Denton resident Ralph Christopher Rosprim passed away due to complications of COVID-19 at the age of 72 years old surrounded by his loved ones.
Chris was born in Austin, TX on August 22, 1949, to Adeline and Pierre Rosprim. Chris moved to Denton, TX in 1997 where he enjoyed a long career in real estate until his passing. Chris owned his own property management business in Denton, Property Pros Management for over 15 years although he has been managing properties for over 40 years.
Chris was a long-standing member of the Argyle United Methodist Church, and many other organizations such as Apartment Association of Greater Dallas, South Texas Commercial Association of Realtors, Central Texas Commercial Association of Realtors. Texas Association of Realtors, NARPM, Greater Dallas NARPM, NTCAR, Involved with TREPAC, Treasurer of the Denton Community Development Alliance. Treasurer of the Boy Scouts. Treasures of the Denton Breakfast Kiwanis, Treasurer of the Denton Breakfast Kiwanis Foundation, and Treasurer of the Argyle United Methodist Church Men's Group. GDWC A R: Greater Denton Wise Co. Association of REALTORS; Past President, REALTOR of the Year, Executive Committee, Director, Governmental Affairs committee, TREPAC Member Relations, Education Building and MLS Committees. Texas Realtors®: Texas Realtor Executive Board, Texas Realtors RVP, TREPAC Trustee, Professional Standards, Ombudsman, Chair Political Involvement Committee, Chair Grassroots Political Network, Leasing and Property Management, Commercial, Chair Commercial Programs and Budget. Chris enjoyed making coffee for church every Sunday and the Men's breakfast once a month. Chris enjoyed helping people and advising new real estate agents. He was the first person to step up and offer to help someone who needed it. He enjoyed spending time with his family and doted on his granddaughter's. He also loved everything Texas Longhorns and the color burnt orange.
Chris is survived by his daughter Lisa Lapeze, son in law Brent Lapeze, daughter Megan Graves, son in law Chris Graves and his four granddaughter's, Bailey Lane, Makenna Graves, Adelyn Lapeze, and Emery Lapeze.
Celebration of life services will be held at Argyle United Methodist Church on Saturday, November 20, 2021, from 10:00-11:15AM with a BBQ lunch and reception immediately following until 2:00PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Argyle United Methodist Church, Denton Noon Kiwanis Club/ Denton Breakfast Kiwanis, or North Texas Basset Hound Rescue. In honor of Chris and his love of boots and western wear, western wear attire preferred.
