Rodney Dale Porter 41, of Aubrey, Texas passed away on February 11, 2023 in Frisco, TX. He was born in Dallas, TX to Neal and Debra (Smithart) Porter.

Rodney graduated from Little Elm High School in 2003. He was a fighter and a miracle. He loved to be around his family and play with his nieces. He always brought everyone around him happiness and joy.

He is survived by his mother, Debra Kendrick, and her husband Jimmy of Oak Point, TX, brother, Matt Dillon Porter and his wife, Shea of Aubrey, TX, and nieces, Olivia, Kimber, and Kenzie Porter of Aubrey, TX. Grandfather George Verlin Smithart, and with a host of uncles, aunts, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his Grandfather Fred Oliver Porter and Grandmother Velma Beatrice Porter. Grandmother Rowena Dale Smithart and Grandmother Gladys Laverne Smithart. Father Neal Porter.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 from 5-7 PM at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, TX. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at 10:00 A.M.
