IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Sue Huckabee
Brown
August 13, 1931 – July 19, 2017
Sue Huckabee Brown, 85, was born on August 13, 1931 in Smackover, Arkansas and went to be with the Lord on July 19, 2017. She was the daughter of Elmer and Clyde Huckabee both deceased as well two siblings, Elmer and Katherine. Sue was proud of being a Christian and a member of The Church of Christ. She graduated from Idabel Gray High School in Idabel, OK then married at the tender age of 17 to Jimmy C. Brown on June 19, 1949 in Little River, Arkansas. Their first son Jimmy was born in October, 1950, followed by Terry in November, 1954.
Sue was a loving, steadfast wife and mother devoting her life to her family and the Church of Christ. She did not grow weary in doing good, but practiced patience and the virtues that would make any family as proud of her as we are. She found great contentment in the blessing of her life, was a gentle peacemaker, and in all respects a model of humility. Our family will never be the same without her.
She is survived by her sons Jimmy K. Brown of League City, Texas and Terry M. Brown of Double Oak, Texas. She has three grandchildren, Carrie Berry, Leah Bossi, and Teresa Page, and four great grandchildren, Daniel, Michael, Amelia, JJ and Rocco.
A Special Request to The Lord:
Lord, if flowers grow in heaven, then pick a bunch for me.
Then place them in my mother's arms, and tell her they're from me.
Tell her that I love and miss her, and when she turns to smile,
Place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for a while." Author unknown
