These prices are effective as of January 6, 2025 and are subject to change without notice.
The goods and services listed represent those available through our funeral home. You are welcome to select only the items that meet your preferences. (Please note that every funeral arrangement includes a fee for the Basic Services of our Funeral Director, staff, and general operations.) If legal or practical requirements require the purchase of any additional item, we will clearly explain the reason in writing on the statement outlining the selected goods and services.
Preparation & Funeral Home Charges
Professional Services (This Charge Cannot Be Declined)--$1,495.00
Basic services of a licensed funeral establishment required by the state of Texas, which include as a minimum: services of funeral director, staff and overhead. For arrangement and supervision of all details of the funeral service, administrative services, general clerical work, bookkeeping, preparation of the death certificate and all allied forms. This fee for our basic services and unallocated overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (this fee is included in all services except in certain special cases)
Embalming--$695.00
Except in certain cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with a viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it such as direct cremation or immediate burial.
Refrigeration--$300.00
If the deceased is to be held by the funeral home for more than 5 business days, by the family's choice, a refrigeration charge will be incurred. (This charge does not apply to direct cremation)
Other Preparation of Deceased--$300.00
This includes dressing, cosmetology, restorative art, placing and positioning in casket and sanitary care for deceased when not embalmed.
Minimum Preparation of Autopsied Deceased--$300.00
This includes suture, positioning, feature setting for viewing.
Barber & Hairdresser Services--$75.00
If desired, a barber or hairdresser can be arranged for styling of the decedent’s hair.
Facilities, Staff & Equipment
(Saturday Services +$550/Sunday Services +$795)
Visitation/Viewing--$585.00
This includes the use of facilities and staff for viewing, visitation or rosary service the day before funeral
services (per 2 hours)

No visitations are scheduled to end later than 7:00 PM Monday-Friday.
No visitations are scheduled to end later than 4:00 PM Saturday-Sunday.

Live Streaming--$300.00
Equipment for live streaming of service. Allows people to attend service remotely and will be saved to obituary on DeBerry Funeral Director’s website.
Obituary Placement on Funeral Home Website--$95.00

No other warranties and no warranties or merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose are extended by Bill DeBerry Funeral Directors.
Please note: If an outer burial container is not used Bill DeBerry Funeral Directors, Inc. does not assume responsibility for any damage to the casket at the time the grave is filled.

Direct burial within 3 days of death.
